Lavender Noir is a warm, somewhat dark lavender scent that I believe will become a major crowd-pleaser. I am not aware of anything that smells quite like this, and I believe it will represent our Ultima 2 luxury line exceptionally well.
As mentioned, Lavender Noir offers a warm, wonderful fragrance by utilizing two distinct types of lavender: Lavender Absolute, which has a rich, paste-like quality, and Lavender Grosso, a beautiful French hybrid.
The scent opens with the tangy passion of bergamot, while lavender and geranium blend into a fresh note that is simultaneously chic and chivalrous. While the lavender remains the most prominent element, the composition is further enhanced by the natural elegance of pink pepper—an ingredient I use quite frequently. Finally, the base settles onto a bed of vanilla and agarwood, accented by an intriguing note of coffee and Siam benzoin sourced directly from Thailand.
