lavender noir extrait de parfum | niche fragrance

I'm growing a beard right now, so I jumped straight to the EDP of this one. This fragrance is unbelievable. I would even say it's unisex, because my wife has used it a couple times since I got it. It doesn't smell anything like a "perfume" or "cologne" anyone you know in person will likely be using. It also has very distinct "phases" over the day that smell different while it dries down. As someone who has used many A&E soaps+aftershaves, this is definitely one of their best fragrances. It's a personal favorite, but also a crowd pleaser just because people will ask you what you are wearing with no clue who A&E is. I say that as a compliment, because this fragrance alone is strong enough to step far outside of the wet shaving world in its own right. Easy 10/10, and most of all, it's an appropriate fragrance even during the summer,even though I know it will be even better suited fragrance for cooler weather. Even by A&E standards, this one stands out. As much as A&E is known for their shaving soap, I really think this fragrance as an EDP stands out in a pond where there are much bigger fish than what we usually see in the world of wet shaving. Easy 10/10 fragrance.

A stunning lavender perfume! Soft and comforting, I truly haven’t come across a lavender perfume done this well!

This is a very pleasant lavender fragrance! While it is lavender forward, it doesnt smell like a barbershop. Its a clean soothing scent and I’ve been loving it!

The entire departure from the stereotypical lavender fragrance is exactly what this extrait is. Lavender Noir is dark, alluring, exquisitely balanced, and pays homage to the artisan aspect in fragrance design. This extrait maintains the calming affect of lavender. It does this without the eucalyptus ghost of the English variety, yet not fully French either. I have received complements galore. Albeit a floral in scope is doesn't lose sight of the masculine.

The best lavender forward fragrance on the planet. This is so different than i expected. I knew it was great, because of the shave soap and aftershave splash. They really amped it up and the complexity truly shines. The backend is magical
